Oh Lonesome Ana – No Kind of God

Couldn’t be more slacker 90’s if it tried and that pleases us because it feels effortless in Oh Lonesome Ana’s hands. Everything suggests that there is a strong country influence here too for the melancholy is not too far away throughout. ‘No Kind of God’ has a lolloping quality that is endearing, just as much as the vocal harmonies get us on their side. Adds up to the sound of a band on the road to Wheat, one of our faves from way back when. KH
