Cathedral Bells – Afterglow

As Cure as you can get, early stuff from Robert Smith it must be said with plenty of New Order influences in there too and a dreamy facade of a vocal that makes understanding the words impossible but we all get the emotion for this is swoonsome stuff. So very retro for a 90’s afficionda like me but Matthew Messore and friends have put together a beautiful set of montages on Afterglow to a degree that we were drifting in and out of happy consciousness as it built ever greater swells of sound.
