EVNTYD – Sleepy Head

The way it opened we just couldn’t have predicted what a force of nature ‘Sleepy Head’ was going to turn out to be, a proper indie anthem with all the trimmings including a soaring vocal and an absolute wild undercarriage of chords. It all feels so vital this track could well be used an artificial heart pump. In the process we get to hear an act who have blown our socks off in just over three minutes. We live for indie-rock like this coursing through our ear canals and EVNTYD (led by Austin based Julián Berdegué) don’t disappoint – like Ash back in their 90’s purple patch. KH
