Soft Mothers – Hysterical Love

Now that is heavy duty fare, slightly reminding of Suede before Soft Mothers really show their hard side and it combines the buzzsaw riffs with a singer who could be several sheets to the wind such is his repertoire of noise and seething. Had me thinking of Conrad Keely and of course the And You Know Us By The Trail of Dead so ‘Hysterical Love’ needs to be housed where it will be loved and cared for because noise on this level is a rare commodity.
