Crowes Pasture – Don’t Blink

‘Don’t Blink’ sounds to me as if it came in on a folk breeze, all the natural turns you’d expect including the slide guitar and the interweaving vocals from Monique Byrne and Andy Rogovin. In fact Crowes Pasture could be some way towards giving country a good name among the under 30’s for they have a timeless yet contemporary touch. It feels easy listening but done with so much nuace it amounts to much more than sweet nothings too. ‘Don’t Blink’ is fashioned with so much heart it would be heartless to go with anything other than fulsome praise.
