Luke Hogfoss – Sooner or Later

You can tell there is a little lightning bolt about to be unleashed from seconds in, from a singer who sounds like Thurston Moore but I am not quite sure Sonic Youth ever barrelled along at this degree of momentum. ‘Sooner or Later’ makes for a happy clappy Dinosaur Jr. vehicle as a result and with some vestige of summer remaining we’re all for a soundtrack that keeps the glow of the season alive. Yep, we’re in clear indie rock territory and a tune that is imbued with the rhapsody of what it means to be young, free and gunning for the best outcomes in life. KH
