Oh the romance of it all, an electronic pulser that has the art of love built into its DNA and in the process reminds of the great chanteuses of yore as well as more recent acts like Black Box Recorder. Denmark’s Anna Mose draws from a heavenly well of inspiration and infuses ‘Beautiful Prison’ with electro movements that has us dreaming of mystical locations and romantic ideals that we have long since depressed. There is an experimental aspect, as well as a prog one, too but it is in her singing that we soar. A lullaby for us adults who just refuse to give in to thoughts of growing up. KH
