Such action stations from an act who know how to direct their inner fire to angular guitar shards and on top comes a singer with the same degree of fizz to his pronouncements. ‘Something More’ introduces Portugal’s Grand Sun who espouse a youthful manner, not content to stand around and instead grabbing the studio time by the throat and making something vital as a result. The Edge (U2’s guitarist) like chords telling us something more about an act who have a ‘Boy’/’October’ vitality. Effervescent stuff. KH
