Jesse Blake Rundle – Ways To Be Great

Almost jazz like in its early approach but we know Boise’s Jesse Black Rundle and the folk pathways were always going to break through and ‘Ways To Be Great’ is no exception. As usual our little heart is tinkered with thanks to how this artist operates in a world where innocence and wonder are its chief mainstays. We’re allowed to retreat a little, back to when we were less cynical and took to each day as an opportunity to explore all the endless possibilities. This is softly engineered happiness on record and one of those rare occasions where 3 minutes is all it took to see me turning over a new leaf. A slice of the joy that awaits on Jesse’s new EP ‘Artifacts of Water’. KH
