Wet Fruit – Dandelions at the Gate

The production is ever so crisp so that the instrumental propulsion can be clearly identified. The playing though is only part of the circus of sound for there is a singer here who offers up wide angled personality traits to give us an effort that is punk and pop but pushing the boundaries at the same time. In many ways ‘Dandelions At The Gate’ is way out on its own as a result, shooting for the stars and becoming one itself in the process. I felt a jolt of exhilaration, because Portland’s Wet Fruit don’t appear to have any sense of fear and best of all they’ve seen fit to bring us along for the ride. KH
