The Great Depression – Boxes of Candles

A swirl of jangle in pastoral aural colours to start so we were always going to set aside other pursuits while the Great Depression led us by the hand. And the gorgeous swells continued to ripple out in a most tender way, words issued so as to not dampen the effect of being in a flotation tank of noise. As the season approaches it is to songs such ‘Boxes of Candles’ that we’ll turn for restitution because it has soothing ambience as its byword, the electronic flourishes taking over as it goes on to offer head massage of the kind that is all too rare these days.
