Astral Bakers put us through the mill here, chopping and changing their approach but there is such a dash to proceedings it is hard not to drawn into their tale of love and subsequent lack thereof. The main thrust of satisfaction comes from lead singer Ambroise Willaume who swoops in and out of thoughts in such an artful manner and with with a melodic quality that is prime humming material. Means ‘I Don’t Remember’ have crafted something memorable that rewards umpteen revisits. KH
