DIN NYC – Crooked Line

There is an old school quality to ‘Crooked Line’, in fact if I heard it without any cues I’d be thinking it might have come from the last century. Not that I was complaining because a good song is a good song and especially one that might have come from the hand of Bruce Springsteen, which ‘Crooked Line’ so perfectly evokes for me. DIN NYC have concocted an anthem that is immediate and gets us up and wanting things to change while admiring an act who can conjure a chorus as perfect as this. DIN NYC have somehow circumnavigated our reticence for high nostalgia, but a cracker of a tune when it comes along must be celebrated. KH
