Strawflower – Haunting of the Hollywood Hills

What a noisy, even abrasive stuff but LA’s Strawflower show us besides that they are softies behind it all and ready to command our attention with a psychedelic manner that sounds like it was plucked from a way back decade. There is sweetness in the contemporary air thanks to this track all the same, breezy antics that are unencumbered by life’s little annoyances and instead just ride their own melodic jet stream. Yep ‘Haunting of the Hollywood Hills’ lifts us free and that is something that we’ve learned to grab with both hands. Dandy Warhols fans in particular will be in raptures. KH
