Bellefolie – In the Clouds

The one thing that is most in evidence is the romance that Norway’s Bellefolie brings to the table, a big voice but arrangements that wrap their arms sumptuously around that centerpiece. It all feels like a winner, the kind that is going to get plenty of us into chest pumping mode and for me a form of pop that truly distinguishes itself for its sheer ambition. And that is down to a hint of Bjork’s wide-eyed wonder with ‘In The Clouds’ taking on a heavenly trajectory. It builds and it builds and come the end it feels like we’ve started anew with a brand new set of possibilities that are endless. KH
