Color Palette – Barcelona

Color Palette waste no time on this new track of theirs. All indie rock guns blazing and a singer who puts a melodic intervention in place so the more disruptive side of this track suddenly made a whole lot more sense. I was reminded of Teenage Fanclub for the most part, the achingly beautiful way that this act draw the human spirit from a loud and gregarious soundtrack. Love conquers all and ‘Barcelona’ proves to a lesson in how we need to wrestle those feelings from deep inside all of us and only then things will we turn a corner. Beautiful stuff from Jay Nemeyer.
