This took me right back, to a more innocent time and when independent music was produced with a flair for not giving a shit about whether rules were being followed. So ‘Groceries’ is pleasingly staggered, off-kilter and slacker like a long lost Pavement tune. Everything about it feels so 90’s inspired and it has the gas to power a Friday night disco scene where limbs take flight at the sheer pogo-inducing manner of the music. Unhinged and glorious and reminding us what grunge used to be capable of. KH
