And lead single on ‘Fantasy’ is titled ‘Native Birds of Guam’ so you just know you’ll be plugging into something tropical and fantastical. Love its urgency and that patented rush of guitars and words that this act is capable at will. At a very basic level ‘Native Birds of Guam’ is a jaunty few minutes and Teenage Fanclub fans will rejoice at the sheer jangling intensity of it all with a perceptible nod to the Pretenders in the twinkling guitars.
