Mopey Hope – Weight of your Word

Now that is one serious piece of ratatat to greet us, only the start of the escapade from Aarhus act Mopey Hope who remind of the Frames right down to that Glen Hansard vocal approach. So ‘Weight of Your Word’ is suitably full of endeavour and I did wonder how much more illuminating this track could get on stage. On record it feels like a living, breathing entity that is bursting out all over with intention and personality. Simply impossible to turn this kind of jamboree down. KH
