The sort of jangle that would have you thinking Cocteau Twins almost instantly and paledove (Devon Thompson) didn’t let us down in that department, even if it was the Sundays that she really aimed for. And it proved to be a faithful rendition of that classic late 80’s/early 90’s sound, complete with a chorus that just soars the way indie pop with a shoegaze touch used to do. Being that vintage I just couldn’t resist this dreamy effort. KH
