Here’s a song that stole a line from Willy Wonka (1971) and came away with a honeyed chorus. Of course the peddling Mr Wilder also plundered but who cares when the indiefication at the end of the quadruple century old saga is a delight. ‘The Only Pretty Ring Time’ was originally released on the Very Most’s download only ‘Spring’ EP but has now been joined by 14 others on their new CD ‘A Year With The Very Most’. Understandably we believe it’ll be the best indiepop record of 2010 and for €9 you can see if we’re right.
