Can’t beat a bit of alt country with a singer that sounds all the world like a youthful Stevie Nicks. And Nikki Lane isn’t just content to leave it at recording gems like ‘Gone, Gone, Gone’ either as she has her own line in coloured shoes and dinky t-shirts amongst other things. The talent some people have eh but as we’re mostly a music portal it is good to know that Miss Lane would plump for her musical endeavour if push came to shove. 9 times out of 10 this sort of tune would have sailed unbeknownst over our heads but Lane has a convincing personality, someone who is definitely worth listening to.
