I had been looking for this tune for the longest time after a solitary hearing on Dave Fanning’s evening radio show back in the early 90’s. Imagine my surprise then when I discovered that the band, Galway’s Snowblindwaltz, not only had a website but were giving their whole back catalogue away for free. This song is certainly of its time and listening now, 2 decades later, it does sound very like Glaswegian band the Wendys (and most of their debut album ‘Gobbledygook’) who were another that I thought I had lost until the internet came up trumps a couple of years back. Might have a cider and dig out my pair of red denims to celebrate the occasion. KD
