Oh that way of turning out the words sound is ever so alluring, reminded me of Laura Marling but with a giddy quality so you just know there is going to be a whole lot of frolics to ‘Sentences’. Add in some gorgeous arrangements and Annika Kilkenny sure does know how to pull the rug from under us in a jaunty folk number that will inevitably turn bad days around. Short as can be and the kind of mini bolt of joy that doesn’t come along very often so we feel compelled to do our bit in extolling its many virtues.
