Immortal Wound – Burnt Out Star

Oh I like the sound of that My Bloody Valentine opening but Immortal Wound prove to be more than that, operating in a psychedelic dimension and generating plumes of noise that are made for closing ones eyes and dreaming of 1992. The words are there but they aren’t either because they are meant to be part of that overall flow. A melodic sensation then but one that won’t appeal to pop enthusiasts because ‘Burnt Out Star’ feels fuzzy and ramshackle. To these ears however we are living the dream with this duo Immortal Wound supplying the soundtrack. KH
