Disso!ver – Ich Will Wie Du Sein

You would have to throw out a J. Masics and Dinosaur Jr. comparison alright, that much is mandatory going by the opening gunfire on ‘Ich Will Wie Du Sei’n. I mean what we have here is a set of rampaging guitars/rabid drumming with a slacker dude embedded in the propulsive stew to remind you that there are still acts (in this case a one man operation from Cologne) out there who give a f**k for creating organised chaos on record. I found the whole Disso!ver effect uplifting as a result, youth giving it socks as if the revolution needs to be fast but can have a tempered side too. Hits you hard before draping a comforting arm around your shoulder. KH
